Each year the genealogy community gets excited when RootsTech is approaching. Due to the pandemic, this amazing event in Salt Lake City happened in-person for the last time in 2020. The following two years, genealogists had to stay at home but were able to attend a virtual edition. This year, you can choose from both options.
If you want to watch the presentations – some are live and others are pre-recorded – take a look at the RootsTech website and sign up. The virtual event is free! There are many great presentations, in several languages.

Genealogy in the Netherlands
Unfortunately, there are no new presentations about genealogy in the Netherlands. I recorded three presentations for RootsTech 2021 and those are still up. If you did not watch them previously, now is your chance! (Or watch them again, if you like…)
- Presentation 1: Research in the 19th and 20th century: civil records
- Presentation 2: Research in the 19th and 20th century: population registers
- Presentation 3: Dutch parish registers from the 17th and 18th century
These are just three presentations about research in the Netherlands. If you are curious about other presentations on Dutch family history research, feel free to contact me. Presentations – both online and in-person – are part of the genealogy services that I offer.
